Can we cycle in the park on Sundays?

On Saturdays the park has a paramedic doing duty between 6:30 and 14:00. Mountainbiking is a higher risk sport and injuries are common. Let's see where the future leads us. People staying in the cabins for the weekends however, have access to the trails on Sundays.

Are we allowed to fish at Koedoeslaagte?

Koedoeslaagte is a nature reserve. Fishing and hunting are not allowed in the park. Launching and fishing from Koedoeslaagte is also stricktly forbidden.

Can we camp at Koedoeslaagte?

Currently we have no camping facilities or preparred camp sites at Koedoeslaagte.

May I bring my dog along to run with me?

Koedoeslaagte is a nature reserve. Porcupines, aardvarks, warthogs, likkewaan, otters, dassies, hares, steenbuck and other wild animals are common sightings. And then there are two donkeys and the horses. We do not want to scare them away. Visual impaired owners are welcome to bring their guide dogs along.

Can we book a ride or hike along the trails on weekdays?

Guided tours and hikes will be allowed. Guides will have to be qualified. Tour operators and guides should contact us in order to book.
